Getting Ready for Your Prosthesis
We make our own sockets, which are like a custom fit holder for your limb.
The process starts with a 3D scan of your limb that can be done right where you are, without needing a hospital. This scan only takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
From this scan, we create a digital model of your limb to design a socket that fits you perfectly.
Adjustable Fit
The socket is designed to adapt quickly to changes in limb size throughout the day, whether it slightly swells or contracts.
BOA®-fitted socket allows for precise micro-adjustments in one-millimeter increments, which can be easily done with one hand.
Wrist Rotation
Fortis hand is equipped with 180° passive wrist rotation.
The locking button securely holds the selected position and prevents accidental rotation under load.
